"Pretty clean room, mostly okay"
The room was clean overall, and the bathroom looked fine too, so that was nice. I did notice a little dust near the bed, which was kind of annoying, but it wasn’t a big deal. Overall, not bad at all

"For some reason, it was way too crowded"
For some reason, the place was absolutely packed when we went, and it felt like we spent more time standing in lines than actually doing anything. The kids got bored quickly, which made the whole visit feel even longer. for what we paid, it just didn’t feel worth it.
"Check-in really started things off badly"
The check-in process was a mess. I felt like I was waiting forever, and the staff I dealt with came across as rude instead of helpful. It kind of set a bad tone for the whole experience.

"A bit too stressful with little kids"
We went in expecting it to be really easy for families, but it ended up being stressful. The signs weren’t very clear, so we spent a lot of time figuring out where to go. The kids’ areas were crowded, which made it harder to relax, and a few things were closed without much notice, so plans kept changing. We also had trouble finding a quiet spot for our younger kids to take a break. Since we paid quite a bit, I expected a smoother experience.

"Nice stay with a couple small things to fix"
Overall, we had a really good time. The place was in decent shape considering how busy it was, and our room was clean and comfortable enough for the trip. The waterpark areas seemed well taken care of too, which we appreciated. You can tell a few spots are starting to show some age, like certain hallways, and one of the elevators was slow. But none of that was a big deal or took away from our stay. The staff seemed to be keeping up with things and working hard. We’d come back again, especially if they keep freshening up some of the older areas

"Honestly, the water park was a letdown"
We were disappointed with the water park, honestly. It just didn’t feel worth the money. A lot of the place looked old and kind of run down, and some areas didn’t seem very clean. Even the water looked a little gross in a few spots, which was not great. The lines moved really slowly too, so we spent a lot of time just waiting around. We expected a lot better for the price and ended up leaving annoyed.

"Pretty solid for what we needed"
We stayed at Wilderness at the Smokies with the kids, and for the price, I thought it was a decent deal. The waterpark being included helped a lot, especially with everything going on that weekend, since we weren’t constantly paying for extra activities once we were there.
The room was fine, nothing fancy and probably due for some updates, but it was clean enough for us. Food was more expensive than I expected, though that seems kind of unavoidable in places like this. Overall, with the waterpark and the kids staying entertained, I felt like we got our money’s worth.
"Hard to manage without a car"
The location ended up being a bigger issue than we expected. Online it looked like things were nearby, but once we got there, it was clear that not having a car made everything harder.
Because the sidewalks and walking options were limited, we couldn’t easily get around on foot. Rideshares also took a long time or got expensive, so quick trips turned into a hassle, especially with kids.
Parking and traffic in the area added even more stress. Since getting in and out was such a pain, I wouldn’t choose this place again based on the location

"Pretty disappointing experience"
The food was a letdown. The pizza came out cold, the lines took forever, and every time we asked staff a question, we got a different answer from someone else. It just felt disorganized and not really worth the wait.

"Fun at first, but I expected better supervision"
We did have a good time in the beginning, and the kids were excited to run around and try everything. I went in thinking it would be a easy, relaxed outing since places like this usually have staff keeping things under control.
But once we got settled, the supervision didn’t really match what I expected. Some areas had employees nearby, but other spots felt like no one was actually paying attention. Kids were running around, cutting in line, and going down slides before it seemed safe, so I kept having to step in with my own kids because I didn’t feel comfortable relying on the staff.
For the price, I expected more active adult supervision, not just people standing around. Nothing major happened, thankfully, but I left feeling more stressed than relaxed, which was disappointing. It was fun in parts, but I’m not in a hurry to go back.

We went to Wilderness at the Smokies the place itself was fine, but the staff made the whole trip way more stressful than it needed to be. Every time we asked a basic question, the front desk acted like we were bothering them, and half the time nobody seemed to have the same answer. It felt like the rules or instructions kept changing depending on who you talked to, which got really frustrating fast. We spent way too much time waiting around just to get short or rude responses. For what we paid, I expected to feel a little more welcome and a lot less like we were constantly chasing moving goalposts.

"Billing issue that felt totally avoidable"
My booking turned into a billing mess. I was charged the wrong amount, and when I reached out to support, they weren’t really helpful. It felt like an avoidable problem that should’ve been easy to fix.
